Whittier Elementary was awarded the Silver Medal from the Voyager Reading Program for accomplishment and gains in reading for the 2007-2008 school year.

 This year, Whittier Elementary will be collecting Box Tops 4 Education labels . Collecting is easy! Simply cut out the Box Top and send it with your child to school. Each class will collect the Box Tops throughout the year. The money earned will go to help out the whole school, with a special prize going to the class who collects the most!
